Invitation to Membership
You are cordially invited to become a
member of the Lincoln Minute Men. Membership is open to all interested individuals
and families. Multi-generational family participation is commonplace in our ranks,
encouraged and celebrated. The only age requirement is that members under the age of 16
must be accompanied at events by an adult family member.
You may serve as a musket soldier, musician, costumed
re-enactor, or on the support staff. All that is needed is a willing spirit and a
love of our historic heritage. Everything else can be readily obtained from instructional
drills, music practices, quartermaster supplies, and colonial sutlers. (Use of a musket
is restricted to members age 16 and older who have completed safety training.)
The Lincoln
Minute Men hold musters on the first Tuesday of each month at the historic Pierce House
in Lincoln Center, from September through June, to hear guest speakers, plan events,
and enjoy conversation. Dues are minimal, and a members' newsletter is published each month. To
join, or for more information, please contact the Recruiter,
attend a muster at the Pierce House, or write us at:
