October Muster topic - “Lives of the Lincoln Minute Men,” - Don’t miss our guest, Mr. George Quintal, historian present "The Lives of the Lincoln Minute Men of 1775". Mr. Quintal is a graduate of RPI, Troy NY with a degree in applied mathematics. He worked as a UNIX database consultant until 1997, and today he works nearly full-time studying the common soldiers of the Revolutionary War. In 1975 he began to research the names of the men who accompanied Benedict Arnold on the Quebec Expedition. He is in the process of reading and extracting the entire US pension set, including 2670 rolls of microfilm. He frequently visits the Waltham National Archives in order to study the Lincoln Minute Men of 1775. He authored the book "Patriots of Color at Battle Road and Bunker Hill" and he is currently working on five others books with co-authors. He is also a consultant for the Boston Tea Party Ship & Museum.
