About the Event

What was life like for parents and children in 18th century Lincoln? When every man had to have the soldier’s equipment and skills. When every woman had to feed, clothe, and cure the illnesses of her family. When children had to do their school lessons with quill pen, and still have time for games. When adults and children made their own music for entertainment. When parents (and youngsters) debated the important issues of the day. Come join the Lincoln Minute Men to talkabout life in Lincoln of 1775, and try your own hand at the tasks, the skills, and the amusements of 18th century life. There are hands-on activities for the entire family. True Patriots preferred, but Redcoat spies and Loyalists are welcome, too.
