About the Event

March to Concord: The original Lincoln minute men marched to Concord along Sandy Pond Road, and the modern Lincoln Minute Men have retraced this march since they were re-established in 1966. The distance is roughly 2.8 miles, and is enlivened by the pleasures of springtime, enjoyable conversation, soldiers’ musket firing, and the historical satisfaction of feeling like an original Lincoln patriot. The Company reassembles at the Concord Museum and marches to the starting point of the Concord Parade, making our traditional grand entrance. Those who prefer not to march can go by car and meet the Company at the Concord Museum.
