About the Event
Capture of Paul Revere: The Lincoln Minute Men present dramatic narrative in which Paul Revere and the other historic participants in the capture (played by LMM members) dispute with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow about the accuracy of Longfellow’s poetic version of history. The event is preceded by a march along a historic section of the Battle Road to the site of Revere’s capture. After the dramatic narrative, we return along the Battle Road to the Visitor Center parking area, where the Company and our guests enjoy goodies made from 18th century recipes, as a fitting conclusion to a successful day. Free event. Parking onsite at the Paul Revere Capture Site lot.
